We're excited to be back!!
Cant you tell??? lol

Since our last post, we have moved back to Pembroke Pines and we've reached several milestones (which will be posted soon.)

FOUR!

Although I'm a couple days late, this was taken on Sunday, when she turned 4 months old!
It was our first full day in Clermont, and we spent the day relaxing and having fun at home.

This past month she has been sticking her hand in her mouth, screaming in the highest pitch that can make your ears bleed, and she even recently has been grabbing her foot.
She's growing quickly and I'm glad I can see everything.

First Time: Riding on a Plane!

It was my first time flying without my mom, or flying without an adult.
Oh yes & my baby girl did AMAZING.
Didn't cry, not once!
Its soo difficult to board a plane with a baby!
I had a million things to hold and thank God other people saw I was having a difficult time so some asked me if I needed a hand, and trust me, I never said no lol
The flight was super short, by the time I could take her out of the car seat, I started feeding her but I didn't even get to finish before I had to put her back in! But heres a tip:
NEVER feed a baby on a plane unless its long enough for the baby to process the food completely!
Because when we started landing, she started throwing everything back out.

First Time & Milestone: Eating Solids!

My baby had her first, official meal today! She did so great and ate more of it than spitting it out :) And like most of her first timers, my mom did it! She was the one who fed her for the first time as well as the bath and all that good stuff.
Enjoy the video!

First Time: Meeting the Great Grandparents!

Yes, we took baby Ayleen to meet her great grandparents this past weekend! Great Grandpa couldnt be in any pictures unfortunately but Great Grandma loved her! And Ayleen loved her too, she was happy & smiling! Ayleen is her youngest great grandchild, the oldest being 5. Armando and I are definitely going to make an effort to take Ayleen at least once a month.

With love from Great Grandparents,

Milestone & First Time: Rolled Over (from tummy to back)

This precious baby rolled from her tummy to her back last night! She was playing with her dad while I was folding some of her clothes. When I turned to look at her, she was rolling over! She did it for us 2 times after that, but then after I think she got tired of doing it lol check it out!

First Time: New Years!

Happy New Years to all!
Our new years went fantastic. We barbecued and at night we lit a fire outside. It was so relaxing! It was pretty cold so the fire felt super nice.
Ayleen spent part of the day with her Tio while I went out with her Tia. Apparently, she had lots of fun :) Before we left she was already "talking" to him and everything.

We hope this year is one full of happiness and joy for our friends and family <3

First Time: Christmas!

Our First Christmas!

On Christmas Eve we went out to eat with my mom, Armando, Danny, and a friend Mike. We went to BJs, it was so yummy! I should have taken pictures of the food because it was amazing.

Then today, Christmas, we went to my brothers house to have lunch, open presents, and watch the first Heat game of the season. Which, of course, we won :D She wore this cute, striped sweater with pink pants.

Yay for double chins!

I love this bow we got from target. Its hard to find bows this color. Its a high contrasted green, adorable.

We hope your Christmas was a wonderful one!

Milestone: Ear Piercing

Yes, this is true, we got our ears pierced!
Its funny cus for some odd reason I dont use earings a lot.. but my baby will! lol They put a red dot on each ear first to make sure i liked the position and that they were even. First was the left ear, then the right. My poor baby :( it was so sad seeing her cry!

She cried reeeally hard for about 2 minutes (like in the first photo).
then the rest of the time she was just sad and making real sad faces (like in the picture below.)

Stay tuned for the next milestone... hopefully real soon!

The big number: 1.

Its funny.. the big number 1. This number is actually the smallest, but when it comes to this, its huge. And 1 year old is even bigger. It may be the biggest age ever, dont you think? This past month I've gotten to know her, and shes gotten to know me. We have a routine and we stick to it. She's been such a cute and well behaved baby.. i hope it never changes. I pray for her health and well being everyday and I know God will bless her always.

Ayleen's Birth Story

It all started tuesday night, October 4th, at 6:00 PM. I was scheduled to be admitted into the hospital at 7, so I was getting everything ready and heading out the door with my boyfriend and my mom. I kept thinking, the next time I come back, I'll have my baby!
Before I knew it, it was 7 and I was already in my room, where I would be having my baby. The room was pretty big, it had a cool iPod dock and a flat screen TV. Anyhow, that is where I met the first nurse who took care of me, Claudia. She explained to me the process of being induced and how everything works. So we started right away, signing papers and beginning the first step of induction. At this point, I was just excited -- but little did I know what was to come.
Anyways, she told me I could eat one last time. Then, I couldnt eat until after giving birth. So my mother in law brought me and my mom food from her home, and she bought MCDs for me and my boyfriend. On top of those two meals, the nurse brought me hospital food (which by the way, their hospital food is the BOMB). So I ate, or devoured the food. And then relaxed. My mom slept in the sofa bed, and my boyfriend slept on a big chunky chair. They switched back and forth during the night. Me? I didnt sleep. Even if I wanted to. The nurse constantly came in to check my babys heart beat and to see how things were going.

October 5th, at 7 am, the pitocin was introduced to my body. This is what actually brings on labor. At around 10, my doctor came to break my water. At this point, I met my new nurse, Eileen! Yeahhh, coincidence that her and my baby have the same name? I think it was a sign from God that it was meant to be! Anyways, Around that time I started feeling contractions. Let me tell you, THEY SUCK! It got to the point where it was so bad, that I cried during the contractions. So I decided to get an epidural to stop the pain. Unfortunately, 2 hours later, I started feeling full force contractions again. Even though my legs where numb, the pain wasn't blocked and I could still lift my legs and wiggle my toes. The anesthesiologist said she'll give me another shot of the epidural. This time, she gave me more than before. So I got a double whammy of an epidural. After that, I didn't feel a thing! My legs where completely dead. This whole entire time, my baby was facing the wrong way. The nurse turned me several ways to try to help my baby position herself correctly, but she only turned half way. At 4ish, the nurse told me I was 9 cm dilated. I was super excited, and I started fixing myself up - did my hair and applied make up haha. At around 5, my boyfriend was starved. He asked the nurse if he had enough time to go downstairs and eat at the cafeteria. She said yes, most definitely. Well, my doctor came in about 10 minutes after he left and turned the baby herself! That's when it all began. My mom called my boyfriend desperately to have him run back, and trust me - he did. I started pushing, thankfully not feeling anything but pressure. Lets just say after 30 minutes of pushing, Ayleen was born at 5:59 PM.

Ayleen Raquel Vazquez
7.12 lbs - 21.5 cm

My mom was there through it all. She never left my side, and I couldnt thank her enough.

Heres a Baby Ayleen photo mash up!
